GENERAL ADVISORY FOR PUBLIC


 The 2019 novel corona virus (covid-19) is a contagious virus that causes respiratory infection,can transfer from human to human.

  • FEVER
  • DIFFICULTY IN BREATHING
  • COUGHING
  • TIGHTNESS OF CHEST
  • RUNNING NOSE
  • HEAD ACHE
  • FEELING OF BEING UNWELL
  • PNEUMONIA
  • KIDNEY FAILURE

Human corona virus (covid-9)most commonly spread
 from an infected person to other though:
  • coughing
  • close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hand
  • Touching an objects or surface with the virus on it, then
  • touching your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing your hands

HOW TO REDUCE RISK OF CORONA VIRUS INFECTION(COVID-19)

  • Clean hand with soap and water or alcohol based hand rub
  • Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or flexed elbow
  • Avoid close contact and maintain 1 meter distance with anyone
  • Isolation of persons travelling from affected countries for at least 14 days

DO's

  1. Cover your nose and mouth with disposable tissue or handkerchief while coughing or sneezing
  2. throw used tissue into closed bins immediately after use 
  3. Frequently wash your hands with soap and water
  4. Avoid crowded places/big gatherings
  5. Person suffering from influenza like illness must be confined to home 
  6. Stay more than one meter distance from persons sick with flu
  7. Take adequate sleep and rest
  8. Drink plenty of water/liquids and eat nutritious food
  9. See a doctor if feel unwell (fever,difficulty breathing and cough).
  10. While visiting doctor, wear a mask/cloth to cover your mouth and nose.

DON'Ts

  1. Touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  2. Hugging, kissing and shaking hands while greeting
  3. Spitting in public places
  4. Taking medicines without consulting doctors
  5. Disposal of used napkin or tissue paper in open  areas
  6. Touching surfaces usually used by public (Rolling, door gates, etc)
